The regular worker only makes between $10-$15.00 hourly, so assuming per day they earn $80.00, most of car insurance policies charge people a deductible of $500.00 in the event you get involved in a car accident. So taking in consideration that you’ll have to come up with $500 if you get into a wreck plus all the time lost for looking for a car rental, deal with attorneys or insurance agencies, its just more convinient to stay home
… so I guess this is why people rather stay at home or leave early from work when icy conditions exists in Dallas – Ft worth area
Some interesting facts when speaking with business owners this week:
When we spoke with several clients in the Dallas areas is funny that 3 out of 5 business owner said they are doing contract work in Houston and El Paso or south of Texas, with todays temperatures plummeting to freezing temperatures, is good to know at least in the south area of Texas is booming with a lot of contract work (at least in the transportation and construction business).
I believe Dallas – Ft Worth have a really strong economy, so its important to be prepared when icy conditions exists
